I didn't know about BJJ until 2016. My friend, an owner of a Judo dojo, suggest me to look for a Jujitsu class, as his dojo was on reconstruction. So after a 12-year-break from Judo, I feel quite excited as I thought I was going to practice an ancient martial art Jujitsu. Later I found out he was talking about BJJ. After googling, I first tried at BJJ Hanoi around August or September and October, under coach Tuấn Anh (blue belt), the closest club to my apt. Then I tried at Vietfighter gym in October under coach Dung Pham (brown belt). At the end of October I also practiced at Ronin BJJ Hanoi (Dragon MMA gym), under coach Lê Cường (blue belt), until the end of that year. All 3 clubs are friendly, but I like Dung Pham BJJ and Ronin BJJ Hanoi due to their technical level, competitiveness, and open-mindedness. In the end I chose Ronin BJJ Hanoi. So after some months break, I settled at Ronin BJJ Hanoi at the end of March 2017. I have great time with wonderful people here. It is my second home since. I feel blessed.
