Since then, he’s probably trained tens of thousands of hours, competed, taught, earned multiple belts, and contributed more to BJJ than you’ve probably put into anything in your life, and you’re still sitting here with your tinfoil hat on, trying to relive some imaginary controversy like it’s a Netflix docuseries? At some point, it stops being “concern” and starts being full-blown obsession. If you’ve spent this much time thinking about someone else’s blue belt, it says a lot more about you than it does about him. Seriously, go touch some mats, get some rolls in, and let it go. Nobody builds a legacy by crying about someone else’s 1999 belt rank on a forum.
