Indeed, I have a varied training history :-) On the mats since age 10 wrestling in western Michigan. Happy to have traveled the world during 12 years of active duty military service, learning BJJ from legends and always seeking out the toughest training partners. Finally settled in Bend, Oregon training under Mac Danzig. After many years of being a serious hobbyist that worked challenging jobs , I am pleased to be full-time committed to training and teaching BJJ and coaching humans. Big thanks to all of my coaches past and present, especially Mac for helping me organize my grappling tools and making me an uncompromsing finisher. I don't say oss, but I will throw a shaka / it's called jiu jitsu, never "jits."
