1993, I was 10 years old and saw Royce defeat larger and stronger oponents, in that very day I knew that I wanted to train whatever he was doing. 17 years later I realized that there was a Jiu Jitsu movement going around in Perú with some well trained guys and I start looking for what I always wanted. I start training in 2010, one week before my fist daughter was born and since then, I never stop. I train under the Gracie Academy curriculum for about 3 years, having the chance to travel to California and complete their Instructor Certification Program. I train about a couple years in the Renzo Graicie Academy here in Lima-Perú. In 2015 I joined Guigo Jiu JItsu team and start training under the wings of Marlon "Caveira" Ribeiro as a blue belt and have recieve from him all my belts until the Black Belt. In 2025 I joined the GRACIE BARRA team under Professor Andres Legallais and started head coaching Gracie Barra San Miguel.
