I was fascinated and I've been training in martial arts since I was a kid, arround 13 years old. Started in Romania with Taelwond-Do ITF, then Shotokan Fudokan. I incorporated some Judo and freewrestling mouvements and learned to use my fists and my brain. Later, at university, I focused on Kickboxing and Muay Thai, which I'm still practicing in present days. I had the chance to meet a great passioned friend and learned and add some good Wing Chun, Jeet-Kune Do and Ju-Jitsu, Welham and Traditional. Later I've studied also Wushu/Kung-Fu. Back in our eastern Romania gym we trained and fought a lot, free-fight and in different styles. It was a sort of old school approach: fight to survive, to be the man still standing in the end. I've enjoyed teaching the others. As best "performances", I've managed to be national champion in Sanda Kung-Fu and bronze medal in nationals Taekwon-Do ITF. Got injured, menisc and ligament. My previous job didn't allowed me to do much and years passed ... Even if I've earned black belt in several styles I didn't hesitate a second to put back the white belt, grab the kim and ... I've started training BJJ & grappling in 2013, under Olivier Hennau @ Blackland BJJ Charleroi, Belgium. I've been and still am so lucky to be part of this team. Thanks for reading.
