My history in martial arts started at 10 years old. I started Isshinryu Karate until I graduated high school at that time I was awarded my Black Belt 1986 currently Nidan in Isshinryu Karate. I entered the military USAF at my duty station started training kenpo Karate and was awarded my Blackbelt. After separation from the USAF I joined the ANG and started training in Enshin Karate was awarded my Blackbelt (currently hold Yondan (4th Degree), although I am not training consistently as GladiatorBJJ has taken most of my time and was awarded my Blackbelt almost 8 years ago. I have been training in the martial arts for 40+ years. For the last 20+ years I have been helping amateur and professional athletes meet their strength and conditioning needs to perform at there best in their given sport.

Got my blue belt, short time later I blew my ACL out. I was out for a year, went back to training and about a year later my daughter was born with some health issues, and had to stop for 2 years. Started back up after the two year hiatus and a year in I blew out my other ACL and was out another year. Then work got in the way for about another year, at that point I changes school so I had to start all over again with new instructor "you know the evaluation period, because he didn't know my game yet." After 3 years fr9m that point I got my purple belt.
