I started training Jiu-Jitsu in my teenage years, and although it became a dormant passion for a long time, the opportunity to return came through a project at the Federal University of Goiás. That experience opened the door to many incredible moments, and Jiu-Jitsu became one of the most meaningful parts of my routine. Today, my main goal is to understand Jiu-Jitsu through a more scientific lens: what works, what doesn’t, and why. I want to explore the most effective training methods, the specific exercises that improve performance, and how I can evolve by analyzing the weaknesses in my own game and correcting them with intention and consistency. I currently train four times a week. Mondays are fully dedicated to takedowns, because I believe strongly in the connection between Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. I also use a notebook to study concepts, organize insights, and map out my technical progress. My sessions alternate between tactical training and high-intensity rounds, including survival training with multiple partners and no rest, which helps sharpen both mindset and endurance. Above all, I try to live by a few simple principles: consistency, respect for everyone without distinction, and embracing Jiu-Jitsu not only as a sport, but as a lifestyle.
